Sindora
Sindora is a striking tropical hardwood prized for its warm golden-brown to deep reddish tones, dramatic grain patterns, and natural durability. Native to Southeast Asia, this lesser-known exotic species produces lumber that rivals premium rosewoods in appearance, often displaying subtle striping, darker veining, or resinous figuring that adds depth and character.
With a fine to medium texture and moderate natural luster, Sindora finishes to a smooth, elegant surface. Its strength and stability make it suitable for high-end furniture, cabinetry, flooring, turning blanks, knife handles, and specialty woodcrafts where a refined exotic look is desired without the scarcity of true rosewoods.
