Mexican Bocote is a striking exotic hardwood prized for its dramatic grain patterns, warm coloration, and exceptional durability. Native to Mexico and parts of Central America, this wood features a golden-tan to yellowish brown base dramatically contrasted by dark brown to nearly black swirling streaks, often forming the signature “landscape” figuring that makes each piece one-of-a-kind. Its natural luster and oily feel allow it to finish beautifully, making it a favorite for luxury woodworking projects.
